NAUATECH is committed to ensuring that its events and community remain a non-harassment-free experience and a welcoming destination open to everyone from all backgrounds, identities, and aspects of life to learn, share knowledge, connect, and create opportunities for success. To preserve this environment, we expect all attendees of our events and members of our community to adhere to the Code of Conduct.

Our goal is for everyone in our community to feel welcome, respected, courteous, accepted, empathetic, cooperative, supportive, and giving their best, which is why we encourage members to contribute in a holistic way that is supportive of learning, promoting health, happiness, and the wealth of knowledge of others. To this end, malicious behavior and threats, harassment and insults, discriminatory jokes, and abusive language will not tolerated.

By receiving your NAUATECH Pass, you are expected to respect everyone at the events regardless of their gender, race, religion, age, disability, culture, marital status, level of experience and education, technology options and opinions, or other aspects of what we look like, where we come from, and who we are.

We do not accept any disrespectful behavior in any of our events. NAUATECH events are meant to be a 100% positive experience for everyone from the beginning till the end.

Disrespectful behavior includes, but is not limited to:

— Verbal comments that reinforce social structures of domination from the previously mentioned.
— Deliberate intimidation.
— Sustained disruption of talks or other events.
— Unsolicited physical contact.
— Advocating for or encouraging any of the above behaviors.

Attendees violating these rules may be expelled from NAUATECH events at the organizers' discretion.

For reports of behavioral cases, don't hesitate to get in touch with us directly: conduct@nauatech.com.
